That is why we also work closely with naval architects, classification societies and ship owners to continuously improve our solutions.Our patented groundbreaking electric Azimuth thrusters are the first electrically driven propulsionsystems with an integrated electric motor with a hollow drive shaft. This shaft drives a planetary gearbox which in turn drives a propeller shaft that extends through the entire POD housing. Due to the reduction ratio of the planetary gearbox, the propeller always rotates at the most economical speed, resulting in optimum efficiency and thrust performance.And to underline our confidence in our own pod drives, and more specifically in our patented gear shaft, we offer, in combination with a SLA a five-year warranty.Of course we also deliver our Transverse Thrusters in a POD version. Ideal for yacht building, silent and no extra engine which saves space.Our customers want to be at the forefront when it comes to vessel propulsion, that's why we are now working on a CRP Pod propulsion solution; the A-Pod CRP (counter rotating propellers) thruster.
