Greengage Lighting Ltd is a UK based, leading manufacturer of induction powered light emitting diode (LED) lighting systems for the global agricultural sector. Our ALIS (agricultural lighting induction system) product packages enables farmers to select from a suite of lighting solutions their livestock buildings. We are committed to helping farmers transition to more profitable and sustainable livestock producing methods with the shared aim of helping feed the world's population. As our innovative LED lighting systems work to improve: animal metabolic efficiency, mortality rates, food waste and livestock welfare. Through these efforts Greengage is proving itself to be not just an equipment supplier, but a forerunner in farming method development; as we provide the very latest in energy-smart and cutting-edge lighting solutions. Greengage is collaborating with leading academic universities and commercial institutions. The aim of this is to remain at the forefront of Agri-Tech research and development with a commercial focus to introduce new technologies into the agricultural sector. A number of projects are currently underway as we investigated the relationship between LEDs and increasing agricultural yields beyond the scope of just energy efficiency.
