Susteco AB is a Swedish based company founded in 1997, market leader in providing solutions for on-site composting of food waste. Susteco AB manufacture the Big Hanna composter that compost with a unique flow-through system which gives our customer a simple and practical way to compost food waste on site, avoiding storage, collection, transportation and landfill of organic waste. The Big Hanna produces the most mature compost in the market and therefore suited to be installed directly in highly populated areas. Today Big Hanna composters are installed in more than 25 countries and our main customers are schools, restaurants, canteens, prisons and housing areas that want to convert their food waste. Our customers are located within the Arctic and Antarctic circles, on remote islands, in the middle of deserts as well as in the centre of capital cities.Our company acts locally through appointed distributors around the world. When a composter is installed the caretaker, tenants and kitchen staff are educated in composting. After installation follow-up visits are made to check the biological process. The Big Hanna is manufactured in stainless steel using high quality components we estimate that the machine has a life expectancy of at least 20+ years.
