The Big Cities Health Coalition (BCHC) is a forum for the leaders of America's largest metropolitan health departments to exchange strategies and jointly address issues to promote and protect the health and safety of the nearly 62 million people they serve. Together, these public health officials directly affect the health and well-being of one in five Americans. BCHC fosters collaboration, partnership, advocacy, and best practices among member healthdepartments. The Coalition helps member cities develop and share programs based on provenmodels and best practices.BCHC also provides a unified voice on policy matters primarily at the national level.
