Dartmouth Coalition for Global Health (DCGH) is a student-led organization at Dartmouth College that seeks to unify and foster collaboration within the community around global health issues through research, education, advocacy, volunteerism, and hands-on problem solving. The DCGH aims to equip its members with versatile and innovative intellectual skill sets needed to solve pressing health issues of our time and ensure that its members become useful citizens in an increasingly connected global network. Every term, we hold intramural case competitions for our members to collaborate in teams to conduct research and come up with creative, multidisciplinary solutions that address a specific global health issue within the context of multiple different frameworks. DCGH also hosts multiple speakers a term who lecture on a wide breadth of health crises and disparities that stem from multiple systemic elements like socioeconomic inequities and racism. DCGH also plans to work with nonprofits and NGOs to provide students with experiential, hands-on learning in the global health field.
