The overall aim of the European Squash Federation (ESF) Is to promote the growth of squash across Europe. ESF is responsible for creating and upholding the regulations for European tournaments, as well as for upholding and enforcing the regulations of squash. ESF arrange various European Championships for teams and individual players, across all age groups, and also organise the European Junior Circuit – a series of over 30 events across Europe for young squash players up to 18 years old as well as the European Masters Circuit – a series of 17 events across Europe for players over 35 years old. 46 countries and territories across Europe have joined ESF which means that their players and clubs are able to enter ESF tournaments and participate in ESF coaching and refereeing courses. These central courses are run by experienced professionals to help develop the skills and expertise of local coaches and referees all around Europe. ESF is one of five regional federations that work closely with the World Squash Federation who set the standards for all the technical aspects of squash and co-ordinate the global squash calendar.
