Over the past 8 years working as a program facilitator Nikeisha experienced the lack of supported Art Programs when attempting to connect people creatively living with a Disability and in Aged Care.Nikeisha and local Artist Cara explored and trialed 1:1 and group Art Coaching Sessions in the community that were extremely successful. The need of a supported Art Program tailored to meet the individual people and their abilities was met with Express Yourself Art sessions.With the Support of Marketing and Business specialist Bonnie, we have worked cohesively to establish a strong plan and program outline based on the trialled sessions to set up Express Yourself. We are very excited to further explore other creative programs such as dance and sensory experience.
