First Sip is a storytelling company. For the first 5 years we only shared stories within our Brew Box through creative artist driven merchandise and unique items made from beer from the United States to Rwanda, Africa and more. Since 2020, we have evolved to tell stories visually thorough our video production arm First Sip Studios using what we have learned from small businesses all over the world. We didn't stop there we saw a massive creative asset gap with disadvantaged businesses (minority, woman and veteran owned) from their peers. First Sip is also black, veteran and woman owned so we know firsthand the struggles facing that demographic and having the technology, knowledge and means to create engaging content. To address this First Sip created the SYP "Share Your Purpose" program. The SYP program is a 6-month course with the power of First Sip Studios creates video and photo assets for disadvantaged businesses that empowers them to overcome any immediate obstacles the business is currently facing. Then the following 5 months the business learns how to create and deploy creative assets on social media. This is done via data driven decisions to maximize the content they learn to create. First Sip Studios helps the organization make data driven decisions via the DHSM "Digital Health Scoring Matrix" which is a proprietary matrix that allows First Sip to compute a digital health score for both the business and even up to the community level with a focus on micro vs macro. This helps us find gaps, solutions and recommend effective resources to raise the digital health score of that organization.
