The Minority Business Society (MBS) was established in 1993 at Florida State University for the betterment of minority students and focuses on three key areas: Academic Excellence, Professionalism, and Leadership.Academic Excellence: Members are encouraged to perform well academically with events focused on a broad educational experience as well as practical classroom training.Professionalism: Members engage in workshops and activities that focus on development of soft skills and networking.Leadership: Members are provided with leadership opportunities within the organization and also supported as they become involved, and take on leadership roles, in other organizations.
