The Foundation for Afghanistan is a 501 (c)(3) public charity organization based in Kabul, Afghanistan and Washington, DC. We are an alliance of Afghans and their global friends dedicated to improving human capital and professional capacity in Afghanistan through education, training and vocational development.We believe that investing in the skills and capabilities of Afghan men and women is the most sustainable development strategy for Afghanistan. As an Afghan-led organization, we maintain a fundamental commitment to serve the underserved, including women, minorities, the financially challenged and those from remote or conflict-prone areas of the country. We also pledge to operate with full respect for our people, values and rich culture; work with integrity, transparency and accountability; and maintain a long-term view.
