The Future Vision Foundation's mission is to inspire philanthropy that supports breakthrough advances in eye care by featuring physician-scientists, new discoveries, novel approaches, technical innovation, clinical challenges and the stories of those helped by medical research.An annual national award and documentary film of awardees will be used to illustrate the nature of innovation, the importance of discovery and to highlight the potential to alleviate suffering related to vision.The Future Vision Award will honor today's pioneers and their extraordinary accomplishments through engaging films that unlock the magic of discovery, combine art and science and tell the stories of those who may one day see.
