Global network for the human rights of habitat and social justice.Habitat International Coalition Latin America (HIC-AL), is the regional office of HIC International, whose objective is to strengthen the actors, initiatives and popular processes that promote, defend and realize the right to land, housing and the city. The topics in particular focus on: 1) the production and collective management of habitat, 2) the impact on public policies that regulate access to land and construction, 3) the distribution and enjoyment of housing, neighborhood improvement and the territorial ordering, in the perspective of full realization of the human rights linked to the habitat.In Latin America HIC brings together more than a hundred organizations from 19 countries: Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba, Chile, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Dominican Republic, Uruguay and Venezuela.
