Founded in 1997, Hoya Blue is Georgetown's official student spirit organization, dedicated to the support of Georgetown's many sports teams and fostering a stronger sense of community among the University's student body. We can be found at any Georgetown sporting event, faces fiercely painted, signs in hand, chanting and cheering at the top of our lungs and hocking Hoya gear at halftime. We organize tailgates, half-time competitions, raffles and road-trips to stir up excitement for Georgetown Athletics, and put on fundraisers to support local charities.Membership begins by simply showing up to Hoyas games (the more, the scarier) and attending our weekly meetings. No matter who you are, we want you to be part of our group and to share in our love of Georgetown.Meetings are held every Tuesday at 9:15 PM in ICC 103.
