Igniser is an organization formed in direct response to the damaging effects of human trafficking and the resulting needs and interests.We dream of living in a world free from human trafficking. The goal of Igniser is to give priority to long-term aftercare for survivors of human trafficking coupled with sustainable impact as an end goal for its mission/program objectives.Igniser combats human-trafficking by addressing four key areas of focus: Preventing Exploitation of Vulnerable Peoples, Rescuing Victims, Restoring Survivors, and Reforming Society via Advocacy and Awareness Initiatives. We believe that fostering genuine and trusting relationships with both those we serve and those we work with is the key to affecting lasting and sustainable change in our world.Igniser is comprised of dedicated staff and volunteers with extensive experience working with marginalized people around the world. Our senior staff members each have over 15+ years of on the field experience in short-term teams and foreign missions' programs. In addition, they have backgrounds working directly with survivors of human trafficking and sexual abuse.In an effort to emphasize on long-term sustainable impact for survivors, we proactively seek out and maintain partnerships with other organizations who have goals and strategies that are in alignment with our own. In this way we can pool experience and resources to maximize each organizations capacity to be effective.We recognize and celebrate each victory in a survivor's life. Many survivors begin their journey of restoration without critical documentation, adequate housing and nutrition, physical and mental health problems, and unemployment. One change in any of these broad areas creates a recognizable change in the survivor's life and general well-being. These successes are documented and shared, often times they represent beacons of hope for other survivors who are on the same journey.
