Operated by TNTP, a national leader in advancing great teaching, Indianapolis Teaching Fellows (ITF) has trained more than 600 teachers for schools in Indianapolis since 2007. Our Teaching Fellows come from all walks of life and learn to teach critical, hard-to-staff subjects such as math, science, and special education in high-need Indianapolis schools.Since 2007, TNTP has worked to improve academic outcomes for students across Indiana through various engagements with districts, charter schools, and the Indiana Department of Education—affecting the lives of thousands of Indiana students. We use our experience and knowledge of the local context to inform our recruitment and training approach for ITF, making sure that our program is responsive to the biggest teacher hiring challenges our schools are facing. With a fulltime team on the ground in Indiana, our team is deeply committed to supporting students and their families.
