We are an independent company with around 40 employees from a wide variety of backgrounds in the humanities and both social and natural sciences. Interface was founded by Prof. Dr. Andreas Balthasar in 1991. We have offices in both Lucerne and Lausanne.Interface is Switzerland's competence centre for evaluation. The employees also undertake research into various subject areas and provide organisations with support and advice as they look to develop further or come up with strategies. We act as moderators too for workshops and events involving large groups of people.With all our services, our clients' needs are always central to everything we do. For every project, we put together a hand-picked team that incorporates the skills required (in terms of both methodology and content). It goes without saying that our services are of a very high standard.Our employees are actively involved in various committees of the Swiss Evaluation Society (SEVAL). Interface is a member of the European evaluation network known as C2E and is certified to ISO 9001:2015. The certification of our management system obliges us to satisfy the ISO 9001 international management standards for quality.
