A graduate of the University of Michigan with a Bachelor of Music in Voice Performance, , she took Master's level courses in vocal pedagogy, interpretation of song, oratorio during her Senior year, as well as language study in French, German and Italian. Most recently, Ms. Edgren, developed and launched a new concert series designed to introduce audiences to many different genres of music in an informal and informative atmosphere. The first concert, "A World Songbook," included innovative video translations projected onto large screens during the performance.She was also the artistic director and performed in a series of concerts entitled Expressions of Faith, which presented solo and small ensemble pieces from major choral works. These concerts explored the music's spiritual roots with scriptural references and commentary on the musicological and historical perspective of the work, its composer and their faith journeys.
