The Kalayaan Christian School (KCS) formerly known as Kalayaan Memorial School (KMS) – private institution is a mission project of Kalayaan Memorial Church (KMC) now Kalayaan Christian Church, a member church of United Church of Christ in the Philippines (UCCP), in response to the biblical injunction to the parents to, "Train up your child in the way he should go, and when he is old, he will not depart from it". (Proverbs 22:6).KCS is a non-stock, non-profit corporation managed by a Board of Trustees with continuous pursuit of its Core Values – Truth, Character and Service with the joy of teaching and learning through education beyond hearts and minds, and soaring high to attain its vision, "A distinctive and strong but accessible KALAYAAN CHRISTIAN SCHOOL, where each child is brought closer to the Lord Jesus Christ offer his widest opportunity to develop his character and full intellectual and spiritual potentials, and prepared for service to his fellowmen" in the spirit of the Great commission (Matthew 28:19-20) " 19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.
