Kids Cancer Support Group (KCSG) is a not for profit organisation that is dedicated to supporting and enriching the lives of kids diagnosed with cancer and other blood disorders on Ward 3B Total Care Unit at Princess Margaret Hospital (PMH) for Children, Subiaco Western Australia. This is all-encompassing support ensuring we include the whole family. The Kids Cancer Support Group was formed in 1983 by a group of parents with children diagnosed with cancer and staff at PMH to meet an identified need for support of each other through the often traumatic cancer journey. The primary aims of KCSG are: to improve the quality of life of children diagnosed with cancer, leukaemia or blood disorders and their families; to improve conditions, treatment facilities and the quality of care available for children diagnosed with cancer, leukaemia or blood disorders; to provide information related to childhood cancer, leukaemia or blood disorders; to provide social activities for families, bearing in mind the constraints of children undergoing treatment; to address the issue of siblings of children diagnosed with cancer, leukaemia or blood disorders; to support the parents and grandparents of children diagnosed with cancer, leukaemia or blood disorders; the purchase of general equipment for the children on Ward 3B;
