We are pleased to offer an online magazine to serve as this hub, a means to explore and discuss church structure and the effectiveness of The Body of Christ.The magazine's name, Koinesúnē, is a word we created by combining the Greek words koinonia (fellowship/community) and dikaiosúnē (righteousness/harmony).The purpose of Koinesúnē is to help fan the flames of a great awakening, where Christian institutions realign with the purpose of church, the heart of The Body of Christ is elevated, more people come to faith, and the human spirit grows in service to God and one another. We hope to spend more time covering what is working than what is not working.Our goal is to celebrate the pursuit of authentic discipleship, wherever it is found.Accordingly, we hope that we will:1. Be a hub - source of empowerment, encouragement, and celebration2. Contribute to the biblical charge to equip the body. Elevate and spread information about the search to establish healthy structures in the Christian community. All toward Christ-adoring character and Jesus-centered cultures3. Resource traditional churches, micro-churches, small groups, bible studies and any other collection of believers seeking to do mission together toward Kingdom success4. Contribute significantly to conversation about what church is and how to be betterWe invite you to join the conversation. Now is the time to consider what we are doing, reinvigorating our passion and intention toward a more Christ-centered life.
