Established on Saint Nicolas stairs in Gemmayze since 2008 by Lebanese painter and etcher Brahim Samaha, Laboratoire d'Art is a non-governmental organization providing an innovative forum for freedom of expression and sharing of ideas in the fields of arts and culture.Laboratoire d'Art hosts several events to promote different art disciplines and provides assistance and exposure to artists. The main event that we organize is Cabriolet Film Festival, an annual international and Lebanese short film festival taking place on Saint Nicolas stairs since 2009 - an open air event (the first of its kind in Lebanon) with free entrance. Throughout the years, we have established key partnerships with events and organizations from around the globe.
