MARK TICER: At the law offices of Mark Ticer, we do insurance related matters. That's the majority of our practice. We do commercial litigation. We do some legal malpractice and from time to time we'll do some personal injury as well. We take a very aggressive approach to all cases that come into our office. We want to be on the offense from the word go. We want to put out opponent on the defense. We want to discover and know everything about our case and their case as well. Insurance companies operate on the premise of one of two things. One, most people won't make the claim and two, if they offer them a settlement, that most people will accept that settlement because they don't want to mess with the litigation. See if you understand those premises, then you understand why people need a lawyer, especially in dealing with insurance companies. We treat all our clients the same. They know that we'll go to the mat to bring a successful resolution to whatever legal matter they have and so they understand what the resolution is, that they accept the resolution and so they can get on back with their lives and doing what they like to do best.
