Liquid Biotech USA, Inc. is a cancer diagnostic company that has developed a non-invasive blood test, a liquid biopsy, to monitor cancer as it develops and is treated during therapy. The advantages of our approach include the ability to take serial biopsies with little risk, isolate live cancer cells and obtain genetic information from those cells that the oncologist can use to direct therapy (personalized medicine).Our assay is based on over-expression of telomerase activity, considered a universal marker for cancer; competitors rely on cell surface markers for detection that are not always reliable.
