Automated Manufacturing Laboratory is a computer based production laboratory. The included facilities and infrastructures are turning CNC, Milling CNC, Mini Flexible Manufacturing System (FMS), robotics, TU-2A and TU-3A training units, manual lathe machine, micro milling CNC and a Router 2600 Pro which is a construction and production machine that is equipped with a 3D laser scanning. In it's activity, the laboratory serves the "Three Pillars of Tertiary Education" which is higher education, research and community service. In it's educational service, the laboratory will hold it's lab work simultaneously in one semester with it's correlated course in class. The CNC TU-2A and TU-3A training units are used to give the practicians understanding and skills in programming and using computer based lathe and mill machines. In it's research purpose, the laboratory facilitates research intents for students of S1,S2, and S3 degrees and lecturers from around Brawijaya University. In it's community service purposes, the laboratory carries out the "PKM dosen", university students competitions, external party services, and will hold required training programmes. Every Three Pillars of Tertiary Education activity is held integrated with the head of the laboratory, lecturers who are members of the laboratory, laboratory education institutions, and students who are laboratory assistants.
