The ME TELEVISION network launched October 1, 2005 and offers audiences the same immediate access to the regional music scene and entertainment information that they currently enjoy for news and weather. Our initial cable distribution partnership with Time Warner Cable allows expanded coverage beyond the city limits of Austin to the 40 surrounding cites in Central Texas. Appealing to the broader tastes of consumers today, the network establishes a significant platform of regional exposure for professional musicians and new artists that did not previously exist. ME TELEVISION is a privately held for profit company. Key partners are Time Warner of Austin and the City of Austin. ME Television receives no funding from the City of Austin in support of its operations.
