Medical Angels mission is to collect durable medical equipment (DME) and caregiver supplies. Medical Angels then recycles and redistributes DME to people in need at absolutely no cost.Who Does Medical Angels Serve???We attempt to service those who are not served by the health care system, health insurance, or state and federally funded programs. In these tough economic times, many people are unable to afford equipment to assist with their activities of daily living. Medical Angels believes everyone should have the necessary equipment to make life more manageable.Facts1. The Offices of Medicare and Medicaid approve the expenditure for tens of millions of dollars worth of DME per year2. Private individuals and Insurance companies spend many millions on DME every year3. Approximately 50 million Americans have no insurance4. Over 500 tons of DME end up in landfills every year5. With the recession, many people are in desperate need of DMEs, but can't afford it6.
