The Ministry The Ministry of Fisheries, and Agriculture (MOFA) has the overall mandate for the sustainable management and development of fisheries, agriculture and marine resources of the nation. Mission To ensure development and sustainable management of marine and agricultural resources of the country. Vision To be the lead institution which facilitates the development of fisheries and agriculture sector, while conserving the natural resources by catalyzing, supporting and accelerating the sustainable management of these two sectors in order to secure a better socio-economic standard and future for the Maldivian people.
