Thousands of Minnesota kids struggle with reading and math. Offer your time and talent as a tutor and BE MORE for these students. Make a difference as a Reading or Math Tutor by helping students become better readers or improve their math skills. With great training and onsite coaching, we'll prepare you to help kids develop both skills and confidence! By giving your time and talent, you can be the support students need to succeed. Tutoring isn't just a meaningful way to give back to the community; it's making a difference in someone's life to create a brighter future.There is a need for tutors in communities across Minnesota. You can visit our application site to search for locations near you! Most tutors commit to serve 35, 25, or 18 hours per week. Students make the most progress when consistent help is available so we ask that all tutors commit to completing the school year. Daily start and end times may vary slightly by school or position, but in general your day will start at the beginning of the school day and will end no later than when school dismisses for the day. We are currently recruiting for the 2019-2020 school year. There are opportunities to begin in August, September and October of 2019 or in January 2020.
