MKBT (Make Better) is a local development advisory firm that provides technical assistance to public and private entities. MKBT consists of an interdisciplinary team with extensive experience in strategic planning processes, public participation, engineering, architecture, urban planning and local economic development. Our team combines fieldwork experience, of direct interaction with end beneficiaries, with consistent academic training, both in Romania and abroad. MKBT team members have worked so far with more than 20 local authorities in Romania, as well as with government or international institutions (World Bank, United Nations Development Programme, UN-Habitat).MKBT provides advisory, both at strategic and operational levels, to:· local authorities, in designing and implementing development initiatives for the communities they serve;· private companies, to contribute to the welfare of the communities in which they activate;· central authorities, in the elaboration and implementation of policies and programs in support of local communities.
