MNJ Capital Management was founded in December 2005 by Michael Henderson and Joseph Oyaski. The firm has managed the MNJ Asia-Pacific Absolute Return Fund since its inception in January 2006, and launched the MNJ Japan Absolute Return Fund in February 2012. Both funds run equity market neutral strategies based on fundamental quantitative models.In May 2012, MNJ Capital won the award for Best Asian Quant Fund at the Eurekahedge Asian Hedge Funds Awards for the MNJ Asia-Pacific Absolute Return Fund. The fund is also nominated for the same award in 2013.
