A LITTLE ABOUT MUSE EATERYMuse eatery and bar former Muse on Allen relocated and opened its doors on the 1st of April 2016, housed in the restored heritage colonial carrying company building.At Muse we have a series of smaller spaces within this large building, bringing a sense of intimacy to the different lounge areas. All with unique personalities, we have a private dining area with a boutique wine display perfect for groups 8 to 14 people; we also have a private area overlooking Victoria street great for 30 plus people ideal for that cocktail or canape function.THE RESTAURANTMuse dining room is upstairs and offers a contemporary al a carte and small plates menu using local produce, fresh seafood, house made pastas and breads, at Muse we pride ourselves on making our dishes simple with lots of flavour and using only quality ingredients.Chef Samuel North former owner of Muse on Allen has won many awards from best menu in 2013 during the Visa Wellington on a plate festival best dish in 2014 and a finalist in the silver fern farm awards for his dish of venison, beetroot and fennel.THE BARThe Bar on the ground floor is great for a rendezvous of any description, with casual dining a lounge area and leaners.
