Searching for a ready-made starter that was minimally processed, made with fresh, sustainably sourced ingredients, delicious, and easy to use for speed scratch cooking, we found that the available products didn't meet our standards. So we made one.When we test each variety of NOBULL on our trusted circle of professional chefs, friends and family, we love what we hear. One fateful day in 2013, our co-founder Lani engaged in a passionate conversation with her Uncle Phil in his Venice, CA kitchen. As they discussed the need for radical change in our food system, Lani laid out an emerging vision: to create a company around this product that she believed could support the planet while providing a truly clean, healthy solution for chefs and home cooks alike - a product without all the bull$#!t. Uncle Phil said "NOBULL!" and the rest, as they say, is history.NOBULL Specialty Foods was co-founded by Lani Raider and Donna Neusch in 2014. Every day since, our team has been dreaming up new flavor profiles, testing and improving recipes with the addition of NOBULL magic and working tirelessly to further our mission.
