Oberlin Student Theater Association (OSTA) Details
The Oberlin Student Theater Association is the only producer of entirely student administrated theater on Oberlin College's campus. OSTA is run under the auspices of Oberlin College, which provides OSTA's annual budget, however the administration of the season, and allocation of OSTA's finances are decided entirely by the student board. Every semester, OSTA produces five fully-staged shows a year, sponsors playwriting workshops, and holds staged readings. Additionally, OSTA hosts a semi-annual 24-hour theater competition in the fall and spring which challenges students to create and stage new pieces in just one day.
