The State Services Commission leads, connects and sets direction for the State sector so that the government can deliver great services to New Zealanders. We are small, but we have a long 'reach'. We are uniquely placed to influence and lead system change where and when it is needed. More importantly, we have visibility of what's ahead and can meet those challenges in a proactive way. We have the greatest impact and authority with the Public Service departments, but our support and influence extends across the whole of the State sector.
