Summersover is an art collective started in 2016 by young black creatives to strive to demand a space for those that are not encouraged to enter gallery spaces in gentrified areas of Seattle. Our goal is to create spaces that QTPOC will feel is for and by them- and to celebrate QTPOC in ways of expression + art + community + performance. Each show is meant to showcases what being QTPOC in Seattle means and to connect the QTPOC in the community together- to continue to make the gentrified space of Seattle safe for our people.
