THIS is what happens when two meat-lovers checked out meat-free food, and decided that we didn't want any of it.We had a job before we co-founded THIS, in 2019. We established and ran a burger (as in, beef) restaurant chain. As far as u-turns go, this is a whopper.When we left that business we realised some stuff:That maybe we should eat less meat. Fairly urgently.That if you don't like tofu, or food with orange packaging, you don't have much of a meat-free choice.That we should make plant-based food and deploy our secret-weapon, following it as our guiding star: our obsession and adoration for meat.The obvious(ish…) conclusion, was that we had to make our own plant-based meat-alternative products. Food that PROPERLY works in a fry-up or in a chicken-pie.And so, we made THIS.It's ridiculously high in protein, it tastes sensational and it's produced by people who won't guilt-trip you if you also eat meat.
