We love being winemakers and cultivate grapes with great care for our land and environment. Vigna Petrussa is a family-run winery managed by women for 3 generations. Just 8 hectares focusing on native grapes in the very heart of Colli Orientali del Friuli appellation area (North-East of Italy). The local soil called "ponka" is ideal for the growing of vines of Schioppettino, Friulano, Ribolla Gialla, Refosco and Picolit, but also Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc grapes. We make 13 different wines having great care for the territory and the environment. Therefore our wines have recently been certified sustainable (SQNPI).Our wines are able to tell the story of our land through their typical flavors, perfumes and structure. Schioppettino di Prepotto will tell you most of all how stubborn we are, how much we love our territory and tradition. This is us: love, passion and a strong character, just like the wines we make.
