本协会于1984年经国家建筑材料工业局批准，在国家民政部登记成立，本协会是由从事建筑防水材料生产、科研、设计、施工等相关行业的企事业单位、院校和社会团体以及有关人士自愿结成的全国性、行业性、非营利性的社会组织。 本协会的宗旨：遵守国家宪法、法律和国家政策，遵守社会道德风尚；坚持为建筑防水材料行业企事业单位服务，为政府服务，发挥桥梁纽带作用；维护国家利益，维护行业和会员单位的合法权益；推动我国建筑防水材料工业和防水事业的健康发展。 本协会接受登记管理机关中华人民共和国民政部和业务主管单位国务院国有资产监督管理委员会的业务指导和监督管理。Approved by the State Bureau of Building Materials Industry, China National Building Waterproof Association (CWA) was registered to the Ministry of Civil Affairs in 1984.CWA is a national non-profit organization made up by manufacturers, contractors, research institutes, design institutes, colleges and professionals in roofing and waterproofing industry.The Expert Committee is made up by 55 experts from manufacturers, contractors, research institutes, and design institutes; and the Chief Engineer Committee is made up by 29 chief engineers.CWA's Mission: abide by China's laws and policies, serve the building waterproof industry and the government, act as the bond between government and the industry, protect the national interests, maintain the legitimate interests of members, and promote the healthy development of China's building waterproof industry.
