Fel Warsha is a design research studio based in Cairo aims to remap and rethink Egyptian crafts by bringing together Designers & Artisans in one place. ‘Fel-Warsha' literally means ‘inside the workshop' in Egyptian Arabic. The name was chosen deliberately due to its poetic connotations in Arabic – conjuring up visions of Egypt's rich and long heritage in traditional handmade craftsmanship.The brand aims both to revive these traditions and give them a new twist, by bringing together Egyptian designers and artisans in one place to share knowledge and ideas, and ultimately collaborate to produce vibrant, original products.
