We are Winds of Change, a student run project to design and construct an affordable and efficient local wind turbine within the Edinburgh community.Aims and Objectives: The project will design and build a small-scale wind turbine, to power a local community's energy needs - this is likely to aid farming in the outskirts of Edinburgh. We expect through this project that our members will have a chance to enhance their student experience in the university and acquire skills that will prove useful to them in the future.We plan to be implementing a complex project, and can showcase this achievement.
