This is the reason the Mequon-Thiensville School District exists—to launch our children to a promising future.The Mequon-Thiensville School District (MTSD) is a high-performing public school district located in the North Shore suburbs of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. MTSD serves students in grades 4K - 12 in the City of Mequon and Village of Thiensville - communities that embrace world-class learning opportunities and rich arts, athletics and co-curricular activities. The district is comprised of some 3,700 students and approximately 400 employees across a total of six schools (Donges Bay Elementary, Oriole Lane Elementary, Wilson Elementary, Lake Shore Middle, Steffen Middle, and Homestead High). MTSD consistently "Significantly Exceeds Expectations"​ according to the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction, and also boasts three "National Blue Ribbon Schools"​ per the U.S. Department of Education.
