Adults Supporting Adults support people (over the age of 18) who wish to remain or become a part of their chosen community. Those individuals may perhaps have a learning or sensory disability or mental health need. Services include: Daytime Provision - a support resource designed to suit you and your needs. Support is provided on a one-to-one basis where a positive relationship between the provider and the client develops. Extended Stay Families support clients in a variety of ways responding to each persons needs, some examples of which are: Respite Resource The resource can be provided from 1 to 28 days staying with a family. At Home Day Resource A day resource based in the providers home for people who have dementia or anyone else who would benefit from the uniqueness of this small group based activity. Sitting Service A specific resource provided by ASA trained staff that enables the family to have a short break during the day. Shop2Gether Your own personal shopper designed to help you get to the shops. Spriteleys A brand new resource that currently provides day services four times a week to older people in the Grantham area. The service brings together people from within their communities who may otherwise be socially isolated. Lifestyle Brokerage As a result of your needs assessment, you will be awarded an amount of money which gives you the freedom to choose who can help and support you to lead a better life.
