Our Mission: Providing a lifeline to victims of child abuse and neglectOur Vision: Our vision is a community where all children are safe from abuse and neglect, where citizens are educated about, and dedicated to protecting children.Safe Harbor Children's Advocacy Center began in 1983 providing child abuse prevention services. Since that time, the agency has added several programs to provide free services to child and abuse and neglect victims in Allegan County. The Children's Advocacy Center and the Court Appointed Special Advocates Program began in the mid to late 1990′s. These programs provide free services including forensic interviews, counseling, advocacy, court advocacy, and a multi-disciplinary team approach to each sexual and severe physical abuse case.
