JOYA Scholars is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that serves the Garnet and Richman neighborhoods in Fullerton, CA. These neighborhoods are comprised of low-income, working class, and immigrant families.Our mission at JOYA Scholars is to come alongside middle school and high school students to fill a relational and knowledge gap for students and their families for whom school can be a confusing and intimidating process to navigate. Our students are often the first in their families to attempt or dream of attending college.
