Legacy Pencil Portraits came about because I sat down one day and did a pencil portrait from a photograph of a young man who was struck by lightning. I was saddened by the incident and was also impressed by the clear image of the boy...I HAD to draw him and mail it to his parents...no strings attached. Several years passed when I received a note from them telling me how much the rendering meant to them. LEGACY PENCIL PORTRAITS was born. My goal, in the near future, is to promote that of drawing children of the military. I'm sure a trooper would enjoy getting a drawing of their child or children while stationed in some distant outpost or base or duty assignment. Pass the word...I want to draw pencil portraits of the children of military families. Being an artist has been rewarding for me...and if word gets around that drawing military children is now my goal for spending time at the drawing board and easel...HOORAY!! Thank You...and if you have comments or questions, don't hesitate to contact me. Bill Crowley
