Kaneka Malaysia Sdn Bhd is an affiliate of the Kaneka Corporation group of companies, headquartered in Osaka and Tokyo, Japan. Kaneka Corporation has business activities that span a broad spectrum of markets ranging from polymers, resins, chemicals and foodstuffs to pharmaceuticals, medical devices, electric and electronic materials and synthetic fibers. Kaneka Malaysia is a cornerstone of the Kaneka global network and has been operating in Malaysia for more than 20 years. With six companies and manufacturing facilities, has grown to become the largest manufacturing plant site outside of Japan. Kaneka Corporation’s global manufacturing and marketing network started in 1970 through Kaneka Belgium NV, subsequently, other subsidiaries were established in Europe, North America, Australia and several countries in Asia. Kaneka Malaysia supplies intermediates for the manufacturing of products in a variety of industries, including base resin for sealants, adhesives & coatings, dispersion polyvinyl chloride (DPVC) paste, emulsion polyvinyl chloride (EPVC) paste, expanded polyethylene beads and planks (EPE), expanded polypropylene beads and planks (EPP), graphite sheet & graphite sheet stickers, methyl methacrylate butadiene styrene (MBS), polyimide film, processing aid for PVC (PA) and synthetic fibers for hair products. All of these are manufactured at its 98-acre facility in Gebeng Industrial Estate, Kuantan, Pahang.
