The Washington Nanofabrication Facility (WNF) at the University of Washington (UW) is a publicly-accessible, full-service, micro and nanotechnology user facility in the National Science Foundation's National Nanotechnology Coordinated Infrastructure (NNCI) network. With 15,000 square feet of recently renovated cleanroom, laboratory and office spaces, this state-of-the-art facility offers UW researchers, outside academics, government agencies, and industry users the tools and capabilities necessary to conduct basic and applied research for a wide variety of applications from silicon photonics to biomedical devices. Moreover, WNF offers users the option of contract-based remote fabrication services or self-directed on-site work.
