Mix & Mingle is a locally based coffee shop offering afast casual dining experience, commercial/ghost kitchen, catering, community event space, and alternative retail options for creative entrepreneurs.Mix & Mingle Inc. is a minority-women owned business. It was founded by 3 friends, Tara Pendergrast, Chandra Moore, and Shannon Jordan. The business operates under the name, Mix & Mingle Coffee Lounge.Our founders have over 20 years of food/beverage, entertainment industry and community outreach experience. After years of operating an events business, working in the service/hospitality industry, federal government and non-profit sectors, the co-founders decided to merge their skills and knowledge and fill a void in the community – the need for a gathering place to eat, drink and connect. They put their heads together and mapped out a plan to merge their dreams with a community need. As true lovers of java, they decided on a coffee lounge to offer food and drinks, merchandise, art, networking, and entertainment at one location within the community.
