If you are looking for one of the most unique and progressive childcare environments in the state look no further!Founded in 1977, A Child's Touch is a Christian early childhood education facility that has been awarded best childcare in Thornton 6 years running. We are an accredited school by ASCI (Association of Christian Schools International) and our goal is to foster spiritual, mental and physical growth in children ages 6 weeks to 12 years.Our facilities are a fun, protective oasis for kids. Situated on three beautiful acres, we have 14+ playgrounds with incredible nature areas and on-site children's museum. We even have a Nature Explore certified playground that provides unlimited opportunities for children to manipulate and explore outdoor elements. In a world dominated by technology, we feel it is important to have the children be comfortable and confident in the natural world. A Child's Touch provides food for your child. Your kids will crave the delicious, nutritious breakfast, hot lunch and afternoon snacks prepared by our two full-time chefs!Our secured facility is equipped with an 8' privacy fence surrounding the property so that no one can outside of the school can see the students! We also have over 50 security cameras covering the property.Our younger classrooms utilize MyChild software which keeps you updated on daily activities such as feeding and napping, as well as picture postings of daily activities of your child. The older classrooms will provide you with weekly or daily emails.We want kids to be comfortable with technology as a learning resource and therefore have a Computer Castle, Smartboards, and iPads in various classes from ages 3 and up. Summers are just as exciting as we have themed camps for kids up to 12 years of age!Our award winning, state-licensed school enhances children's learning and imagination.
