The company was established in 1999, when Instrumentation Laboratory IL, a leader partner in the field of systems for clinical analysis, decided to consolidate the core of its industrial activities in the USA.R&D and Manufacturing operations were partially taken to Lexington, Massachusetts, and former partners and employees took over IL activities in Italy, founding Orvim, with the scope of continuing IL heritage in Italy.
